- Take ownership of financial reporting and ensure it is completed on an accurate and timely basis.
- Develop the annual budget and forecasts, in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders, creating relevant performance outputs that link financial reporting with the delivery of targeted business outcomes.
- Work with the relevant stakeholders to produce accurate management accounts for the appropriate cost centres in line with timescales, including all areas of the PnL and cashflow information.
- Propose and agree accurate and challenging Annual Business Plan with the divisional Director, for review with line management.
- Support in the evaluation of business opportunities within your area and be proactive in identifying and recommending potential opportunities.
- Provide strong levels of challenge to the business with the aim of controlling costs and reducing subsidies, and improving success.
- Work as a member of the Finance Business Partnering community to help develop the medium and long-term business plan.
- Collaborate with the other finance business partners to drive consistency in reporting and budgetingand /forecasting.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve processes and deliver business growth objectives.
- Ensure all applicable balance sheet reconciliations are completed in line with periodic deadlines, with full detail of support for the balances.
- Act as a financial advisor and positive advocate for Finance to senior stakeholders without your cost base.
- Work with colleagues to actively seek opportunities for identifying process improvements that enable quicker and more accurate information and reduce the month-end close.
- Work collaboratively with team members through sharing information.
- Drive improvements in the reporting processes for your department through automation.

Person Specification:
- ACCA, CIMA, or ACA Qualified Accountant.
- Experience working in a commercial environment with clear achievements in contributing to your business.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and ever-changing business is essential.
- Excellent experience in developing processes and controls.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver on deadlines.
