Meraki Talent are delighted to bring another excellent commercial finance role to market as we partner with our long-term client to recruit a Finance Business Partner. Our client is going through an exciting period of planned growth and investment, and as a result they have a requirement to recruit a commercially focused Accountant who can demonstrate management reporting, MI and Data skills that will support both commercial and operational business strategies.

Reporting to a Senior Manager, you'll work with a high performing team, balancing key reporting duties with commercial and data analysis, projects and improvements. The role will also demand sound relationship building with key stakeholders across finance and operational functions.

Key duties of the role include:

  • Business partnering with multiple customers/stakeholders across the business, delivering insightful analysis that influences business decisions
  • Budgeting, forecasting and planning
  • Understanding key business drivers and engaging with the business to forecast commercial performance
  • Providing financial analysis and modelling to support pricing, propositions and build financial scenarios
  • Review vendor and new client commercial tender proposals
  • Produce management accounts, month-end reporting packs, KPI reporting and financial insights
  • Analysis - commercial, performance, variance and MI
  • Support FP&A on planning, forecasting and variances
  • In depth analysis of large datasets, provide key insights for decision making and strategy purposes
  • Projects & change - ability to adapt to a proactive and progressing change environment
  • Contribute to delivering continuous improvements through automation and process enhancement.

Experience required:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant or equivalent experience
  • Understanding commercial processes and drivers
  • Ability to work with and develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience of large company is essential i.e. Shared Service, Global or Financial Services
