Finance Business Partner - Reed : Job Details

We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to support the Head of Finance Business Partnering and play a key role in driving financial performance across our UK Commercial Unit.

What you’ll be doing:

• Partnering with Sales and Marketing teams to provide insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Leading the preparation of forecasts, reports, business plans, and scenario modelling.
• Delivering high-quality reporting and business analysis to support decision-making.
• Identifying financial challenges and contributing to practical, data-driven solutions.
• Supporting group-wide financial initiatives and working with external partners (e.g. auditors, consultants).
• Collaborating with internal teams including FP&A, Finance Pooled Services, and Taxation.
• Monitoring financial performance, analysing variances, and driving gross margin improvements through pricing, portfolio optimisation, and promotional strategies.

What we’re looking for:

• A proactive, analytical thinker with strong business acumen.
• Experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Good tax and audit exposure
• Excellent standard of Excel and ideally Power BI or similar
• Degree educated or equivalent
• ACCA, ACA or CIMA
