- We are looking for a Finance Business Partner with experience of working within Social Housing specifically within the areas of Fire remediation and / or repairs and maintenance
- You will need to be a Qualified Accountant with Finance Business Partner experience in Social Housing
Our ClientOur client is a large G15 Housing Association based in Central LondonThe RoleFinance Business partner role across the Property Services DivisionMain Duties
- Provide proactive business partnering to the Repairs and M&E teams delivering accurate, timely management information and insightful analysis to inform operational and strategic decisions.
- Support budget holders in understanding financial performance, highlighting risks and opportunities, and enabling data-led decision-making across responsive and planned repair works.
- Lead on the forecasting and annual budget setting for the Repairs and M&E service.
- Improve financial governance, especially around disrepair cases and legal settlements.
- Oversee month-end and year-end processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
The Successful Candidate
- Strong background in financial business partnering, ideally within housing, property services, or a related operational environment
- Understanding of contractor and service provider financials, with experience in performance and cost monitoring
- Experience of working in management accounting / business reporting role(s), where you have taken the lead on management accounts production, reporting, budget setting and forecasting.
- Financial Qualification essential (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
