Description

Great opportunity for a qualified or QBE accountant, supporting the delivery of site operations on a hybrid working pattern.

• Support site GM's and senior management in completion of budgets for direct costs and challenge where necessary · Generation of budget models and individual sku level detail · Be able to provide narrative of key assumptions in the annual budget to offer context in the detailed budgeted packs provided to the business
• Completion of the Prepared weekly figures issued to the business. This includes the weeklies for all business units.
• Completing month/year end activities for the Prepared business units. Including tasks such as: · General ledger account postings (accruals, prepayments) · Stock management · Balance sheet reconciliations · Support on annual audit at year end
• Operational finance support to senior leaders and stakeholders within the Prepared business units. · Providing financial insight to these stakeholders to support each site with continuous improvement initiatives and control of their internal costs
• Ownership of the Prepared NPD/EPD costing process, to include: · Alongside the planning department review potential new skus the NPD department are development and challenge assumptions where necessary · Cost all skus and present costing outcome to key personnel within the business
• Support Head of Finance on completing Prepared tenders · Work alongside the Commercial and Planning departments to build assumptions to include within the tender costings · Create and communicate financial business case models to highlight tender impacts to the business
• Completion of rolling live forecast. · Produce and review forecasts regularly, challenging and highlighting any variances · Ensuring regular communication to the business

Profile

Qualified or QBE accountant with business partnering experience gained within Manufacturing / FMCG

Job Offer

£200-£250 p/d, initial 3-6 month contract
