Finance Business Partner - Gloucestershire/hybrid working

Our client, a hugely successful privately owned logistics company, is searching for an experienced Finance Business Partner who will deliver exceptional financial performance for both their business and their valued customers, a client base spanning multiple business sectors.

In this pivotal role, you’ll partner with operational managers to provide financial/business support to increase profitability and improve processes, providing management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Cultivate strong relationships with senior managers and their teams, working closely with operational management.

• Manage successful open book contractswithin logistics, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Review and assist with commercial business tenders.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis - provide detailed insights into variances.
• Interpret complex financial data and communicate it effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
• Coordinate the budget and forecasting process
• Offer professional judgment on financial matters, advising on ways to enhance business performance.
• Evaluate capital projects for financial viability and return on investment.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accuracy of financial systems.
• Prepare year-end audit information as required.
• Support the financial department in central reporting and group-wide requirements.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Professional Qualifications: ACCA/CIMA
• Experience: Familiarity with logistics or manufacturing operations (preferred).
• Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and interact with customers.
• Analytical Skills: Strong modeling and analytical capabilities.
• People Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
