Finance Business Partner - Halliday Marx : Job Details

Finance Business PartnerHybrid Working£60,000 per annum

Halliday Marx have exclusively partnered with a Global Sports Brand to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.

Outstanding offices and (3-4 days in, 1-2 days home) Hybrid working, your will work with the Senior Finance Manager and Directors to provide accurate and timely financial information and insight for their Retail business.

The Role:

• Monthly preparation of management accounts including detailed commentary and analysis for presentation to senior stakeholders and leadership
• Preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts and re-forecasts for the retail side of the business
• Support the monthly accounts consolidation including variance analysis and commentary
• Prepare detailed sales reports
• Oversee the interim and year end stock take/s
• Constant liaising with key stakeholders throughout the business (Retail, Sales and Operations)
• Review statutory accounts and liaise and support with auditors at year end
• Support the wider Sales Team with adhoc analysis and reports
• Support the commercial finance team with adhoc analysis and reporting when required
• Ad hoc analysis

You Will:

• Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Have experience in a similar Business Partnering or Commercial role
• Have previous experience within an Retail environment would be highly desirable
• Have strong Excel skills including Macro would be beneficial
• Have exceptional attention to detail with an aptitude for delivering insightful and valued analysis
• Be an excellent communicator, with good energy
• Strong and supportive team player who is a self starter and can work autonomously
