Finance Business Partner - Insurance - 12-month FTC - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

Miryco is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join a global insurer in their Tunbridge Wells office. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

You will play a pivotal role in providing strategic financial guidance and support to key stakeholders across the organisation. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to influence decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with department heads and senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
• Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to support business decisions, including revenue forecasting, cost optimisation, and investment opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial performance, operational efficiency, and risk management.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and achieve business objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, offering guidance on financial implications, risks, and opportunities associated with various initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and reports to communicate financial insights, trends,and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements:

• Accounting qualification: ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, Oracle and Hyperion.
