About the RoleA leading global organisation in the specialty insurance space (confidential at this stage) is looking for a talented Business Analyst - Core Finance to join their high-performing Finance Change team.

In this role, you'll act as the bridge between finance and technology - analysing business needs, designing innovative system solutions, and ensuring smooth delivery of changes that improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting across the organisation. You'll work on cutting-edge platforms, including Pega and other core finance tools, while collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver high-impact transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse existing finance processes, identify improvement areas, and document requirements.

• Design and map solutions in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.

• Support system implementation, configuration, and data migration.

• Develop and deliver user training and support materials.

• Create reports and dashboards to monitor system performance and identify trends.

About You

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and key metrics.

• Proven business analysis skills - requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.

• Familiarity with finance systems (ERP, workflow, payment, treasury, consolidation & reporting).

• Excellent communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical teams.

• Skilled in stakeholder management and building productive relationships.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Pega, payment solutions, Tagetik, Peoplesoft ERP, Anaplan.

• Background in the insurance or financial services industry.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
