Finance Assistant (Luxury Retail) - South West London - Mapped Recruitment Ltd : Job Details

Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a luxury organisation known for its cutting-edge innovation and exclusivity of products on their newly created Finance hires due to business growth.

This role will be perfect for a Finance Graduate with 1-2 years of Finance Assistant experience or an AAT student/Bookkeeper looking for a new position with a luxury brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping for two European entities (retail)
• Accounts Payable - Ensuring accurate coding and posting of purchase invoices
• Posting intercompany purchase invoices
• Preparing weekly creditor payments
• Accounts Receivable - Ensuring accurate coding and posting of sales invoices
• Reconcile customer deposit accounts
• Posting customer card receipts
• Credit card and petty cash
• Posting company credit card transactions
• Posting petty cash expenses and reconciling monthly
• Cashbook
• Bank reconiliations - multi-currency (GBP, EURO, etc)
• Assist with month-end tasks: Accurals, Prepayments, Journals, Fixed Assets

Key Requirements:

• Bookkeeper/Finance Graduate/AAT student or equivalent qualification
• Multi-currency experience
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Excel (Pivot table, V-Lookup, IF, Formulas) level is essential
• Retail experience will be advantageous
• Commutable to the South West London office, 4 days a week minimum
