Finance Assistant - Robert Half : Job Details

Robert Half have been retained by a reputable organisation to recruit a Finance Assistant who will play a key role in supporting the finance team with day-to-day operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in finance within a supportive and professional environment.

You'll be working closely with the finance team to keep everything running smoothly. Typical responsibilities will include:

• Processing invoices, payments and reconciliations

• Supporting purchase ledger activities and supplier queries

• Assisting with bank reconciliations, month-end and year-end routines

• Helping prepare budgets, forecasts and reports

• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audits

• Using accounting systems for data entry and reporting

• Providing general administrative and finance support where needed

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in finance or accounts (1-2 years ideally)

• Confident with Excel and familiar with accounting software

• Organised, detail-focused and comfortable working to deadlines

• A strong communicator, able to liaise with suppliers, clients and colleagues

• Studying AAT/ACCA
