As the Finance Assistant for the Cleckheaton business, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team with various tasks and administrative duties.
You will:
- Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, purchase orders and expense reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, ensuring proper filing and documentation.
- Perform data entry and reconcile financial information.
- Assis in the preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain the accounts payable and receivable functions
- Complete bank reconciliations, petty cash management, and recording financial transactions.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support their needs.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows.
- Adhere to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and supporting management as required.
- Processing payroll and pension submissions.
You have:
- AAT or equivalent (or qualified by experience)
- Some prior work experience within a Finance Assistant role
- Strong Excel skills
- Working knowledge of finance administration tasks
