ABPM are recruiting a fantastic opportunity within a global manufacturer to recruit a confident Finance Assistant to cover the transaction processes for a UK and overseas site. The ideal candidate will hold a strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices with key eye for detail. An individual who is capable of working independently to manage priorities efficiently and can communicate effectively across the departments and sites.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

• Oversee accuracy of purchase ledger entries and accounts payable aging report.
• Assist with the accounts payable transaction process.
• Prepare payment proposals for management.
• Ensure accuracy of accounts receivable aging.
• Lead collections process for accounts receivable ensuring timely debt payments.
• Email vendor remittances for payments raised and customer statements for outstanding debts.
• Bank transaction updated for various bank accounts and weekly reconciliations.
• Ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Do you have the knowledge and experience?

• QBE or AAT qualified.
• Experience of working in a similar role.
