Your new company is one of the UK's leading independent music publishers, known for its rich heritage and commitment to excellence. Based in Harlow, they are offering an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join their Finance team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in finance while studying towards a professional qualification.Your new role will support the Finance Business Partner and work closely with teams across Sales, Royalties, and Operations.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting with monthly management accountsSupporting budgeting and forecastingPerforming bank reconciliations and maintaining the general ledgerProcessing invoices, expenses, and paymentsAssisting with VAT returns and statutory reportingSupporting year-end audit processesContributing to financial analysis and process improvementsThis is a full-time role (35 hours per week) with hybrid working-you'll work 1 day per week from home.
