Finance Assistant
Location: StroodJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £25,000 – £26,000 per annumWorking Structure: Monday to Friday, Office Based
About the Role:
Reed is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a reputable organisation for a Finance Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic finance team and support the Transactions Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process system and manual invoicing
- Monitor and manage the admin email inbox
- Produce and distribute unbilled reports
- Handle Self Bill Invoice processing
- Maintain accurate admin notes and invoicing records
- Upload invoices and PODs to customer portals
- Collate invoicing data and respond to admin enquiries
- Manage POD queries and send copy invoices
- Process cash sales, proformas, and related invoicing
- Handle purchase ledger invoices using Compleat and Key 2
- Reconcile purchase ledger statements
- Support small projects and meet departmental goals
- Assist with month-end deadlines and reporting
- Ensure accurate document filing
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as required by the line manager
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Excellent and considerate customer service skills
- Approachable, reliable, and proactive
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Desirable:
- Previous experience working a finance department
- Previous experience working for a Logistics company
