Finance Assistant - Accountability Recruitment : Job Details

A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established firm of Accountants. Working within a friendly team, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of traditional accounts, CT600s and VAT returns, ready for Manager review
• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
• Bookkeeping for clients
• Use of IRIS to keep job progress reported, updating workflow spreadsheets
• Attending client meetings to provide accounts support
• Liaising with clients via incoming / outgoing calls, answering queries and directing enquiries to the correct person, providing email support where needed
• General administration such a letters of engagement, representation or invoicing

Ideally you will have previous experience working within a firm of Accountants within a similar role, and have completed some AAT study. The company works Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm, with an early 4pm finish on a Friday. They offer 25 days holiday plus bank.
