Our client is a leader in marketing, communications & printing, and following a significant business expansion is now recruiting and looking for a Finance Assistant to join their 20+ strong Finance Team, this is a hybrid role, mostly work from home.The role of the Finance Assistant will offer a broad range of experience, exposure and responsibility, whilst requiring someone to be able to get into the detail to ensure accuracy. Key responsibilities for the Finance Assistant will include:
- Providing support as required to all finance teams (purchase ledger, credit control and management accounts)
- Downloading bank statements and entering cashbook transactions into Sage for purchase and sales ledger
- Working closely with management accounts to resolve cashbook queries
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Direct debit allocations
- Support the maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Data entry to ensure that the system information is up to date
What we are looking for in the Finance Assistant:
- Has experience with a SME / privately owned business
- Previous experience working in manufacturing, print or logistics
- Knowledge of Sage
