Finance Assistant - Robert Half : Job Details

Company

This is a rapidly expanding renewable energy & engineering firm based in London. Using a unique method, they utilise natural resources to provide sustainable energy, and contracts signed with top clients internationally.

Due to this growth, they are now looking to hire a progressive Finance Assistant / Assistant Accountant to join their high-performing finance team.

Role

The Finance Assistant for this growing renewable engineering firm, based in London, will support a wide range of duties within the finance team. This includes (but not limited to):

• Assist with the preparation of management accounts for the group companies
• Support the Manager in the preparation of monthly and year-end packs
• Support on external audits and ensure engagements are carried out effectively
• Processing of group invoices on Business Central
• Maintain and monitor trackers of project cash flows
• Assist Manager in recording of fixed assets
• Setup inter company transfers and payments within the group

Profile

The ideal profile for this Finance Assistant position, should have the following attributes:

• 2+ years of experience within a similar Finance Assistant or Assistant Accountant position
• Strong experience and knowledge within double-entry accounting
• Part-qualified Accountant (AAT / ACCA or similar)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Intermediate Excel (Pivot tables / VLOOKUPs etc.)
• An interest in renewable energy would be beneficial

Salary & Benefits

£35,000 to £38,000 plus benefits including:

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
