Credit Controller | Leicester | Hybrid | £25,000 - £26,000 (Up to £3,600 Bonus) + Study Support | Permanent

Macildowie are working exclusively with this client based in Leicester to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their established team.

This permanent opportunity sits within the Order to Cash team, supporting a nationally recognised organisation. The role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for process improvement - previous Credit Control experience is advantageous, but not essential.

You'll join a collaborative team, based in a modern city centre office with a hybrid working model. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large shared service environment supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across a major group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chasing outstanding debt across the ledger

• Investigating and resolving customer queries to reduce aged debt

• Evaluating and granting credit within delegated authority

• Allocating payments and maintaining accurate sales ledger records

• Providing progress updates to your Team Leader

• Building strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in credit processes

Skills and Experience:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• A customer service mindset with the ability to handle pressure

• GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above)

• Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
