Credit Controller | Leicester | Hybrid | £25,000 - £26,000 (Up to £3,600 Bonus) + Study Support | Permanent
Macildowie are working exclusively with this client based in Leicester to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their established team.
This permanent opportunity sits within the Order to Cash team, supporting a nationally recognised organisation. The role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for process improvement - previous Credit Control experience is advantageous, but not essential.
You'll join a collaborative team, based in a modern city centre office with a hybrid working model. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a large shared service environment supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across a major group.
Key Responsibilities:
Chasing outstanding debt across the ledger
Investigating and resolving customer queries to reduce aged debt
Evaluating and granting credit within delegated authority
Allocating payments and maintaining accurate sales ledger records
Providing progress updates to your Team Leader
Building strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in credit processes
Skills and Experience:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A customer service mindset with the ability to handle pressure
GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above)
Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
