Robertson Bell are working closely with this reputable Not-for-Profit organisation to recruit a Finance and Payroll Manager on a permanent basis. This opportunity is the ideal position for a committed finance professional looking to implement their financial knowledge to a fantastic cause and develop their skillset within a collaborative team. This role will manage and deliver the organisation’s management accounting activities and support the Senior Leadership Team with budget setting and financial reporting.

The Finance and Payroll Manager responsibilities include:

• Support the Senior Leadership Team with budget setting, forecasting, scenario planning and provision of financial reports.
• Prepare and produce management accounts, budget and cashflow forecasts.
• Lead on financial year-end processes and liaise with auditors.
• Manage monthly Payroll for core staff and casual workers, including processing of pensions.
• Be responsible for a Finance Officer and oversee the accuracy of their work.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold an accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or be part qualified.
• Finance experience with exposure to payroll and month-end is essential.
• Demonstrable experience in the production of financial reports.
• Have a detail-oriented approach to work and be committed to completing work to a high standard and within strict deadlines.
• Have a positive, proactive, and solution-focused attitude.
