Finance Analyst - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Doncaster area as they look to recruit a Finance Analyst into their team on a full time, permanent basis.Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst will include:

• Timely preparation of month end accounts, including the full P&L, stock valuation, balance sheet reconciliations, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Twice yearly budget process
• Accurate costing of new sofa ranges and ongoing margin analysis once launched, to ensure the sofa prices are competitive and sustainable
• Liaising closely with the commercial & buying team to understand any market movements which have an impact on the business
• Weekly sales invoicing and reconciliation of accounts receivable
• Producing and issuing reports to cover a wide range of financial and non financial KPIs, looking to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Person Specification:

• Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
• Good IT knowledge – Microsoft Excel
• Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of data
• Excellent attention to detail with an analytical approach to solving problems
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Enthusiastic and driven with a real passion for developing yourself
• Able to adapt and keep pace with a fast moving environment
• Commercial awareness and understanding of core business processes
