Finance Analyst

My client are looking for a proactive and analytical Finance Analyst to join there finance team. This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience across various finance functions, including financial planning & analysis, month-end reporting, and M&A support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Contribute to the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
• Support M&A activities, which may include financial modelling, due diligence, and integration support.
• Prepare and analyse financial data to provide insights and support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain financial models and reports.
• Collaborate with different departments to gather financial information and understand business drivers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a finance role with exposure to FP&A, month-end procedures/.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant finance qualification or working towards one (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is desirable.
