We have an exciting opportunity to become a Finance Analyst at Nomad Foods Shared Finance Centre in Hammersmith. The successful candidate will be working under the Project Finance Controller team. The primary job purpose and scope is to ensure that the accounting activities related to third party Contractors working on projects are effectively managed and administered, so that accounting records are accurate, and payment of invoices is timely and accurate. Accounting activities include accrual management, Purchase Order management, and Invoice Receipt through to payment.

About the role

• Continuously improving and identifying improvements for the Accruals, PO and Receipting/invoice processing processes. Participate in an end-to-end accounting and payment process review
• Support the Project Finance Controller and HR operations teams to ensure the creation of any new, or changes to existing, POs are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure there is effective review and control of POs to ensure they are complete and accurate e.g. no duplicate POs
• Ensure the Accruals at Month End are accurate and posted in a timely manner
• Tracking and maintaining payments of invoices (onto procurement system "ARIBA") and process supplier payments. Supporting the accounts payable team with any vendor queries or payment concerns.
• Working collaboratively with stakeholders - local HR business partners, Talent team and Vendors - to ensure that accounting records are accurate, and payment of invoices is timely and accurate

Experience

• Part-qualified finance professional
• Basic accounting (record to report, or Financial Planning and Analysis) and accounts payable experience
• Experience of inputting high volumes of data.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
