Field Services Operative - Permanent Position

On behalf of our successful client, a leading name in the utilities and infrastructure sector, we are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Field Services Technician to join their growing team. You'll work as part of a close-knit team, with opportunities to cross-train and upskill across a variety of operational tasks.

**Please note: An HGV Class 2 License is essential along with your own transport to get to site.

Key Responsibilities

• Thermal Servicing Procedures: Performing heat-based servicing processes on field equipment to maintain optimal performance
• Equipment Monitoring: Observing and reporting on equipment functionality, identifying and escalating any irregularities
• Team Collaboration: Working alongside technicians and engineers to ensure high operational standards
• Health & Safety: Adhering to all safety protocols and contributing to a safe working environment
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate logs and documentation of all work carried out

Candidate Profile

• HGV Class 2 Licence - Essential
• Experience in a utilities, infrastructure, or similar hands-on role is advantageous
• Basic mechanical or technical understanding of tools and machinery
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and outdoor work
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Awareness of health and safety practices in operational environments

Working Environment

• Outdoor-based role with physical lifting and manual handling
• Full PPE provided - fire retardant work-wear, safety boots, hard hat
• Full-time hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
