At Drive DeVilbiss, we believe in giving back to our local communities, we’re expanding our team and looking for Field Service Engineers to cover central Edinburgh. You’ll play a crucial role in helping people live at home and supporting them to lead better lives. Your work will have a direct impact on improving the quality of life for individuals in need—including supporting the NHS, hospitals and care homes to deliver essential services.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver and install medical equipment across central Edinburgh.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Liaise with service centres and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Service and repair Drive DeVilbiss and competitor products
• Plan daily tasks for maximum efficiency
• Travel and stay away from home when required
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Handle equipment safely and follow health & safety protocols
• Maintain van stock and complete accurate paperwork
• Participate in the on-call rota

What We’re Looking For:

Training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Manual handling and driving skills - full UK driving license required
• Emotional resilience when working with vulnerable customers
• Understanding of infection control and inventory management
• Familiarity with LOLER regulations and service administration
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in field service or technical roles (healthcare preferred but not essential).
• A proactive, can-do attitude.

Desirable (Training Provided):

• PAT Testing
• First Aid
• Fire Warden certification
