Opus CNC is looking for a practical, customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll travel across the UK and Ireland installing high-quality CNC routers, getting them running perfectly, and showing customers how to get the most out of their new machines.

• Install, commission, and test CNC routers on customer sites.
• Calibrate machines for optimum accuracy and performance.
• Provide clear, practical operator training to customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
• Keep detailed job reports and feedback for our technical team.

We’re open to candidates from a range of backgrounds – if you’re practical, mechanically minded, and happy travelling, we can train you on the CNC-specific skills.

You’ll need:

• Solid mechanical and electrical skills – either from engineering, maintenance, or similar work.
• Confidence using tools, testing equipment, and problem-solving on the spot.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively (including nights away).
• Great communication and a friendly, professional approach with customers.
