Field Service Controller - Reed : Job Details

Our client, a market-leading organisation within the machine hire industry, are looking for an organised and competent Field Service Controller to join their Warrington-based team. They are hiring on a full-time, permanent basis and are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

Role Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for organising and planning engineer’s schedules across various depots for routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery. They will accurately raise jobs onto the system and be the first point of escalation for engineering staff.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

• Organising and planning engineer’s schedules across various depots for routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery
• Day to day management and first point of escalation for engineering staff
• Working with the parts team to ensure parts are available for engineers to attend site
• Answering and resolving customer calls and queries and escalating if necessary
• Raising quotations and sending them to customers
• Organising third party supplier and subcontractor callouts when required, including the raising of POs and handling the costs associated

Specification:

• Previous experience within the plant hire/plant machinery background is essential
• Previous experience within a similar field service role is preferred
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and adapt to fluid situations
