FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 8AM - 6PM (MAY INCLUDE SOME WEEKENDS AND ATTENDANCE AT TRADE SHOWS WHEN REQUIRED)

£28,000 - £35,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE 

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join our well-established client based in EDINBURGH, Scotland on a full-time permanent basis.

This role will be office and field based visiting retail stores to promote products.

Day to Day Duties

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing wholesale clients
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories or product lines
• Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
• Present and promote products to potential and existing customers through meetings, trade shows, and product demonstrations
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with company policies and profitability goals
• Process orders accurately and ensure timely delivery to clients
• Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM systems
• Collaborate with internal departments (marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

Essential Skills

• Must have a full driving licence
• Proven experience (two years+ preferred) in wholesale, B2B sales, or account management
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events (as needed)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred

Desirable Experience

• A background in face-to-face sales would be desirable 

Training

• Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
