Job Description :

Reed Brighton is working with an established client who is seeking a Field Sales Manager to lead and engage regional teams across the South UK, ensuring the highest levels of performance and customer service. This role involves driving operational efficiencies and profitability for multiple sites, as well as developing and nurturing staff to succeed. A company car package is included, this is a full-time position based on 40 hours per week, between the hours of 8:00am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead and engage your regional team to achieve top performance and customer service.
  • Develop and train your team, coaching and nurturing staff to succeed.
  • Drive operational efficiencies to deliver results and profitability for your portfolio.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure the brand message is consistently conveyed across your allocated portfolio
  • Ensure all staff adhere to set procedures on health and safety, human resources, operations, and PPE compliance.
  • Implement and deliver new procedures, processes, and corrective actions to support site development, staff development, profitability, and efficiency.
  • Attend operational meetings with the Senior Management Team to support management, maintenance, improvement works, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage project improvement works, site development requirements, and oversee the setup and opening of new sites.
  • Conduct regular site audits to maintain staff and site standards in line with Company standards.
  • Support and lead on commercial development activities to maximise revenue potential.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of managing a team over a large regional area.
  • Previous multisite, retail, commercial industry
  • Services/management experience is desirable.
  • Self-sufficient and proactive, able to work individually and as part of a wider team.
  • Ability to travel for operational and role requirements (driving licence required).
  • Customer-focused approach with effective communication skills at all levels.
  • Good time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with knowledge of employment and health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft 365 packages (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
