Job Role: Lift Engineer - Field Based Location: Wimborne, Dorset (accepting applications from Hampshire area) Salary: £38,500-£43,000 DOE Hours: 8:00-17:00 Monday to Friday Job Type: Full time, Permanent The client: Interaction Technical have partnered with the UKs largest independent Escalator, Lift and Cradle maintenance provider on their search for a field based Lift Repair Engineer to join their growing team based at their Wimborne branch, covering the Dorset and Hampshire area. The package: · Salary of between £38,500-£43,500 dependent of experience · 33 days inclusive of bank holidays · Overtime available and paid at £23.24 per hour, increasing in the new year · Company van + fuel card · Pension scheme · Medicash scheme - Claim back healthcare appointments (eg dentist appointments, opticians etc) · Contributory healthcare scheme - BUPA · Ongoing commitment to internal progression The Duties: · Carry out major and minor repairs to customer lifts, ensuring that any repairs and refurbishment is carried out efficiently and effectively · You will be working with a variety of different lifting systems, inclusive of traction, hydraulic, platform lifts and elevators to name a few · Carry out Lift Inspections where required, inclusive of LG and ST tests · Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation surrounding the repairs you have carried out and give sign off once completed · Ensure that all health & safety regulations are adhered to The Requirements: · Minimum 2+ years worth of Lift industry specific experience (essential) · Holds relevant lift specific qualifications to NVQ/C&G level 3 or equivalent (essential) · Previous experience surrounding both major and minor repairs to lifting systems (essential) · Proven ability to carry out LG and ST tests (essential) · Previous experience working as a field based engineer (advantageous) · Full UK Driving License required Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
