We have an exciting new opportunity for a Fencer & Groundworker to join our Property Operations team in the South Region. You’ll carry out fencing and groundwork repairs – from replacing fences and gates to completing a variety of groundworks – all while delivering a reliable and professional service our customers can trust.

  • Salary: £32,200 per year
  • Contract: Permanent, full time
  • Your week: 39 hours per week. Monday–Friday 8:30am–5pm with one rotating late shift per week (10:30am–6pm)
  • Location: Milton Keynes and surrounding areas

Snapshot of your role

  • Repair, replace and install all types of fencing, gates and ironmongery
  • Carry out groundwork repairs, including paving, ramps, driveways and paths
  • Complete responsive and planned maintenance to a high standard
  • Inspect, specify and sign off work, including quality checks on contractors
  • Provide excellent customer service as a front-line representative of Amplius
  • Work safely, following health and safety, COSHH and PPE requirements
  • Keep your work van maintained and report any issues in line with procedures
  • Support colleagues by sharing good practice and taking part in extra pay out-of-hours rota when required

Your toolkit for success

  • NVQ Level 2 in Fencing, Groundwork or Construction
  • Strong, proven experience of Fencing and Groundwork
  • Practical skills and a good understanding of role-related health & safety
  • Good communication skills and a positive, customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently using a mobile device and tablet
  • Team player, willing to support and mentor colleagues

A full UK driving license is required for this role. You will be provided with a company van and fuel card for work use.

DBS clearance is essential for this role.
