Tate Recruitment is working with a luxury designer brand who are looking for a Planner to join a dynamic EMEIA planning team, offering a fantastic opportunity to further a career within their regional planning function. This role is based in their headquarters in Westminster, on a temporary basis initially until August 2024.

Role Overview:

As a Planner within our Men's and Womenswear Hard Accessories department, your primary aim will be to drive the business through strategic seasonal merchandise planning, controlled inventory management, actionable reporting, and insightful commercial analysis. This role is pivotal in supporting the creation of a world-class, digitally integrated end-to-end planning and analysis team that is commercially minded, interconnected across functions, and dedicated to delivering efficient merchandise processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic seasonal merchandise plans for Hard Accessories to achieve financial targets and support business objectives.
  • Manage inventory levels to optimize stock turns, minimise markdowns, and maximise sales and profitability.
  • Provide actionable reporting and in-depth commercial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive planning and execution of merchandise strategies.
  • Support the implementation of digital tools and technologies to enhance planning processes and outcomes.
  • Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform planning strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning methodologies and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Planner within the fashion industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, merchandise planning, and financial forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to think commercially and strategically, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with digital planning tools and technologies is highly desirable.
