Family Law Solicitor/Fee Earner – Derby

A well-established Derby law firm is seeking a Family Law Solicitor or Fee Earner (3–5+ PQE or equivalent) to join its busy and supportive Family department.

The Role:

You will work on a broad range of family law matters, with direct client contact and the opportunity to undertake court advocacy. The caseload will cover:

• Divorce and separation
• Financial settlements
• Children matters
• Domestic abuse cases
• Legal aid family work (desirable but not essential)

This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to manage files independently, while also working closely with the wider team to deliver an exceptional standard of client care.

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor or FCILEx (3–5+ PQE or equivalent experience)
• Strong track record in family law, including client advice and representation
• Confident advocate with experience in court proceedings
• Organised, commercially aware and able to handle a varied caseload
• Experience with legally aided matters is desirable
