Family Practitioner - Remedy Recruitment Group : Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• The Family Support Service delivers interventions to children and families of all ages across the borough.
• Family Practitioners, under the supervision of the Consultant Social Worker will contribute to the overall effectiveness of the service through applying a persistent approach in assessment and intervention activities with families using assessment, observation, task centred, behavioural and systemic approaches with children, young people and their families.
• The post holder will provide practical and evidenced based support to children and their families to promote improved parenting capacity and understanding of the developing needs of children as part of the overall work of the Family Unit.
• Interventions are delivered in the family home or other settings and support the parenting role and child behaviour through the application of evidenced-based methodologies that promotes positive family interaction, positive behavioural/environmental change and a good standard of care

What you need:

• QSW Status - including qualification, Social Work England registration and completed ASYE
• A minimum of 2 years' experience
• Right to work in the UK
