Factory Production Manger - Henderson Brown Manufacturing : Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Factory Production Manager based in Lincolnshire to lead day-to-day operations in a high-volume food manufacturing environment. The role is focused on ensuring customer orders are delivered on time, to specification, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

• Plan and organise daily factory operations to meet production schedules.

• Oversee multiple production areas, ensuring smooth workflow and on-time order completion.

• Lead, manage, and develop supervisors, team leaders, and operatives.

• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards across the site.

• Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and cost-control initiatives.

• Manage staffing levels, training, and holiday cover to ensure smooth operations.

• Work closely with other departments to meet production and delivery targets.

• Monitor production line performance and costs, ensuring accurate reporting.

• Conduct performance reviews and appraisals to support staff development.

• Proven experience in a factory / production management role, ideally within food manufacturing, fresh produce, or FMCG.

• Strong leadership skills - able to motivate and develop teams at all levels.

• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and compliance requirements.

• Organised, proactive, and able to balance quality with efficiency.

• Confident communicator with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
