Export Operator - Reed : Job Details

We are seeking an Export Operations Coordinator to manage key accounts, focusing on the export booking of FCL, LCL, and airfreight consignments. This role requires efficient coordination with multiple shippers and carriers, ensuring smooth operations and accurate data management.

• Coordinate the export booking of FCL, LCL, and airfreight consignments with various carriers.
• Work closely with shippers to ensure timely and accurate shipment handling.
• Enter data promptly and accurately into the client's bespoke digital system as well as our own internal systems.
• Monitor and manage shipments from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
• Maintain and update shipment records, providing reports as needed to management and clients.

• Proven experience in freight forwarding or a similar role within the logistics sector.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data processing.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
