Export Operator

Salary: up to £30k DOE

Monday-Friday

Location: Commutable from Grimsby, Immingham and Scunthorpe

Grafton Recruitment is working with an established Shipping and Logistics company in the appointment of a permanent Export Operator. Working within a busy multifunctional team, the successful candidate's primary focus will be providing quotations and producing all documentation within the exportation department.

The Role:

Some of your responsibilities as an Export Specialist are listed below:

• Be the first point of contact for customers' queries.
• Be responsible for the all aspects of full load export operations including oncall rota.
• Take bookings and create in system.
• Liaise with transport planners and shipping lines.
• Completing Export Customs Clearances and Export Transit Documentation
• Address inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Issue sales invoices to customers as agreed, check, and pass on purchase invoices.

The ideal Export Specialist:

• Proven experience (min 3 years) in a similar role.
• Customer focused with the determination and willingness to deliver an excellent level of service
• Strong problem solving skills and logical approach.
• Committed approach to your work with an excellent eye for detail.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Organised with ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Great Computer skills.
• A methodical, logical approach with good problem-solving abilities, able to work on their own initiative within a time critical setting and as part of a team.
