Export Operations Coordinator - Right Now Group : Job Details

Right Now Group are recruiting for an exciting and rare opportunity. We are looking for an Air Freight Operator

You will be joining a medium sized Freight Forwarder that specialise in live events and broadcasting goods. You will be responsible for managing end to end exports. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Export Operations.

Duties of an Air Freight Operator:

• Coordinate the movement of goods and materials
• Ensure efficient and smooth transportation
• Oversee the logistics involved in shipping and receiving freight
• Coordinate with carriers and suppliers
• Track shipments in transit resolving any issues that may arise
• Manage documentation such as bills of lading & customs paperwork
• Provide quotes to customers
• Provide a high level of customer service
• Chase for post flights and PODs

Requirements of an Air Freight Operator:

• Minimum of 1 years' experience in Freight Operations
• Knowledge of customs procedures including Carnet clearance
• Proficient experience with CDS Clearance
• ability to perform all Export operations including cutting AWBs and liaising with airlines
• Full, Clean driving license Required
• Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Knowledge of ASM Customs System is desirable

Additional Information Air Freight Operator:

• Salary: £30,000 - £33,000
• Hours: Mon-Fri / 09:00-17:30 (some out of hour's work required, Will be Paid)
• Location: Heathrow
