Mon to Fri up to £26,000 to £29,000 plus bonus & corporate benefits Based Felixstowe or Working from home (office based while training)

We are looking for a diligent Export Customs Clerk to join our client who is a world Leader in Supply chain management. This role is ideal for individuals with some customs experience, which is preferred for the top end of the salary range. However, candidates with strong data entry skills are also encouraged to apply and we have a strong track record with entry level candidates starting here and having successful careers.

• Prepare and process necessary customs documentation for export shipments.
• Ensure compliance with UK and international customs regulations.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and third parties to ensure smooth customs clearance processes.
• Maintain accurate records of all customs entries and transactions.
• Stay updated with changes in customs regulations and inform relevant parties as necessary.
• Utilise customs software systems to input data and track shipments.
• Provide excellent customer service by resolving any issues or queries related to customs clearance.

• Some customs experience is ideal, especially for candidates interested in the higher end of the salary range.
• Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with customs regulations and documentation is a plus.
• Proficiency in using IT systems and customs software.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
