Job Opportunity: Export Clerk
Location: Stanwell – TW19
Hours: Monday - Friday 9-5, with 1 in 4 Saturday's
Package: Up to £28,000 DOE
My client is seeking a friendly and professional individual to join a dynamic team coordinating pet travel logistics. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for animals and a strong background in Freight forwarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end pet travel arrangements, ensuring compliance with DEFRA and international Export regulations.
- Apply IATA Live Animal Regulations to ensure safe and humane transport.
- Maintain accurate customer records and track leads using CRM systems.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, providing exceptional service.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve service delivery.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Candidate Will be/Must have:
- Previous experience in air cargo, logistics, or animal transportation is desirable.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- High attention to detail, especially under pressure.
- Proactive problem-solving and self-motivation.
- IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work one weekend in four (with flexibility for overtime or time off in lieu).
