Exciting Product Innovation Manager Opportunity - SD WAN - Satellite Sector - Creel & Co : Job Details

This is an exciting product capability development opportunity for someone wanting to further his/her skills and ambition in the satellite sector.

You’ll be working for a global company at the forefront of maritime, aviation, government and enterprise satellite communications. More specifically, you’ll be involved in developing an innovative beyond-line-of-sight communication solution disseminating mission system data from airborne platforms to key end-users in real-time for the International Government market sector.

In short, you will be responsible for planning and delivering the capabilities of this product suite with a focus on a brand-new multi-terminal/multi-orbit aeronautical solution.

Experience in SD WAN technologies and their application in hybrid network environments will be key to leveraging the product innovation and automation required. Supported by a proactive Senior Innovation Manager, you’ll enjoy acting as the "glue" for internal network, digital platform, product and commercial teams to drive capability development, ultimately becoming a subject matter expert for the anticipated "home-grown" product suite.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Development of market/technical requirements.
• Engagement with International Government and central product management teams to design an end-to-end to solution architecture for a multi-orbit/multi-terminal solution, leveraging SD-WAN capabilities.
• Documentation of technical propositions for markets and contribution to writing up technical product requirements (eg management briefs, RFI, RFPs, etc).
• Communication of product updates, changes, and progress to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment between all parties involved in the product development and launch.

Character, drive and technical curiosity are essential! You will be a resilient self-starter and intelligent, articulate communicator eager to build a strong stakeholder network within the company. A good sense of humour and initiative will also help!

Essential

o Experience in SD WAN technologies, including productising their application and capabilities in hybrid network environments.

o Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline.

o Ability to remain positive in high pressure and stressful situations.

o Good computer skills in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
