We are thrilled to announce an opening for an Account Executive at a UK Insurance Broker in Newmarket. This business is renowned for its comprehensive range of insurance solutions, both personal and commercial. The role offers an incredible opportunity to be at the forefront of expanding the relatively new branch by leveraging incoming leads, marketing initiatives, and self-generation strategies.

What You Will Do:

As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in providing quotations for new business and renewals, aiming to maximise sales and retention targets. You will:

• Serve as a referral point for less experienced staff, offering guidance and support, as the branch grows.
• Engage with clients through phone and email, delivering outstanding customer service.
• Analyse client needs to offer suitable insurance products.
• Adhere to company policies and underwriting authority limits while identifying areas for improvement.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Minimum 12 months within the insurance sector, ideally with a focus on wheel led business such as motor insurance, motor trade, taxi, fleet, or commercial vehicle. Candidates from other commercial insurance backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, analytical skills, and attention to detail. A self-motivated individual who can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Qualifications: A Cert CII qualification is advantageous, but not mandatory.
