Exams Coordinator - Dovetail & Slate : Job Details

Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for education? We are recruiting for an Exams Coordinator to join the Exams team at a respected Further Education college in the Northwest.

• Coordinate examination activities for specific awarding bodies.
• Process student registrations, assessments, and examination entries.
• Prepare and manage examination timetables and room logistics.
• Ensure secure handling and distribution of examination materials.
• Consult with awarding bodies and internal departments.
• Support students with unique requirements during exams.
• Issue results and certificates and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in statistical reporting and funding claims.
• Support invigilation arrangements and registry tasks.
• Respond professionally to enquiries and maintain confidentiality.

• GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or equivalent).
• Level 2 qualification in Administration.
• IT qualification and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
• High-level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in an examination environment.
• Willingness to work flexibly including evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to safeguarding and professional development.
