Our client is looking for an Events Coordinator to join their team on a 3-month temporary basis to help deliver exceptional conferences across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Day-to-day of the role:
- Research and liaise with venues, suppliers, and contractors to ensure top-notch event settings.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to align with budget and quality expectations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive event websites.
- Manage all logistical aspects of events, ensuring seamless execution.
- Coordinate training and support for guest speakers to facilitate impactful presentations.
- Oversee virtual event execution and troubleshoot live issues to maintain high-quality delivery.
- Travel internationally to manage on-site event operations, ensuring each event meets our high standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in international event coordination.
- Proven ability to manage logistics across multiple regions including Europe and the US.
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Public speaking skills and a confident, professional demeanor.
- Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and contractors.
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with virtual event platforms.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally.
