The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events & Sponsorship Executive to join our international law firm. Based in London and part of the wider Marketing and Business Development (MBD) team, this role is ideal for someone with solid events experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will support and lead on the delivery of internal and client-facing events, contribute to sponsorship and hospitality initiatives, and work closely with stakeholders across EMEA to ensure high-quality, brand-aligned event execution.

You will play a key role in both the planning and delivery of events, offering creative input, managing logistics, and ensuring best practice is followed throughout. This is a hands-on role that requires strong communication, multitasking, and project coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Delivery

  • Support and lead on the planning and execution of a range of events including internal, client-facing, and network events.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to develop event briefs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct venue research, manage bookings, and coordinate logistics including catering, AV, and delegate management.
  • Manage invitation processes, RSVPs, and registration platforms.
  • Provide on-site support for events, including occasional travel in the UK and overseas and out-of-hours work.

Hospitality & Sponsorship

  • Coordinate hospitality bookings and liaise with agencies to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Support the development and activation of sponsorships and memberships.
  • Contribute to the creation of internal hospitality brochures and sponsorship proposals.
  • Track and reconcile sponsorship and hospitality budgets to ensure effective ROI.

Technology & Communication

  • Assist in the setup and delivery of webinars and virtual events using platforms such as ON24 and Zoom.
  • Maintain and update internal intranet pages with event resources and best practice guides.
  • Support internal communications related to events and sponsorships.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain event calendars, folders, and tracking systems.
  • Support budget tracking and invoice reconciliation.
  • Assist with post-event reporting and feedback collection to demonstrate ROI.
  • Solid CRM experience, aligning client data with event initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required

  • 3–4 years of experience in event coordination or management within a legal, professional services, or corporate environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexible with working hours to accommodate early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional travel UK and international travel.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Vuture, InterAction+, ON24, Zoom, and Teams is desirable.
