Events Sales Executive (German Speaker)

Base salary £30K Bonus Benefits

Central London based, hybrid working Travel

A leading international B2B events company, acclaimed with multiple industry awards, is seeking a fluent German speaker to join their London office as an Events Sales Executive.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for selling sponsorship and exhibition packages for large-scale, German-based B2B conferences to a European client base. You will also play a key role in supporting audience acquisition, helping to drive growth and engagement across the company’s flagship events.

This role demands an articulate, sales driven individual who enjoys building relationships and has a real hunger to close high-value yielding sales.

Having confidence to communicate in German and English is essential.

The German speaking Event Sales Executive Position:

• Identify and secure new clients to sponsor and exhibit at the German event.
• Continually expand your sales pipeline
• Build relationships with clients
• Conduct consultative and solutions focused sales pitches via phone, digital meetings and in-person meetings
• Promote and sell premium sponsorship packages to businesses
• Identify senior decision-makers at organisations that would benefit from the event and proactively invite them to attend
• Maintain a strong understanding of the market through ongoing research and training, both internally and externally
• Take a consultative, solution-focused approach to selling, offering creative, tailored solutions that align with client needs
• Travel to attend industry events

Your experience

• A degree and good academics
• Experience in b2b sales, ideally from event sales or media sales, IT sales, recruitment etc
• A fluent German and English speaker
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record of successfully achieving revenue targets
• Organised and able to manage your time and priorities effectively
• A consultative and solutions led sales approach
• Able to work as part of a fast paced, ambitious and supportive team but take responsibility for your own tasks effectively.
