Role Overview:
They are seeking a talented and motivated Event Coordinator / Project Support Coordinator on a permanent basis to support the company in the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects. This role involves working on both set projects and ad hoc tasks, providing a mix of structured and flexible responsibilities.
Project support to assist with:
- Assist with the management of planning and delivery of key events
- Assist with coordinating with clients to understand their event requirements and manage expectations through regular communication
- Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure all event logistics are covered
- Provide assistance with the development and management of event timelines and budgets, ensuring all elements of the event are executed to the highest standard and on schedule
- Assist with overseeing on-site event operations, ensuring seamless execution, problem-solving on the day, and high levels of client satisfaction
- Support the senior event team with a variety of event-related tasks as needed, including event research, administration, and procurement
- Assist with client communications, creating proposals, presentations, and reports as required
- Help manage post-event tasks, including feedback collection, reporting, and invoicing
- Strong project coordination skills with the ability to assist multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism in client interactions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility for event success
- A flexible, “can-do” attitude with the ability to handle changing priorities and ad hoc tasks
- Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and as required during events
- Experience preferred (but not essential) in event planning
