Location: Sheffield

Salary & Package: £100,000 to £120,000 + Company Car / £8k Allowance, 10% Employer Pension, 30% Bonus, Family Private Medical & Package.

The Company

Our client is a well-established technical manufacturing business based in Sheffield, operating as part of a global group with a clear strategic road map through to 2030.

With turnover exceeding £10M and ambitious plans to double this in the coming years, they are now seeking an experienced European Sales and Marketing Director - Manufacturing Sector to drive growth across existing and new verticals and markets.

This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in an established yet ambitious business backed by a global group. You'll have the autonomy to shape the European growth story, supported by a clear strategy and significant investment.

For the right individual this role is highly likely to progress in to a Managing Director role within 2-3 years.

The Role

This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for shaping and delivering the European Commercial & Sales strategy. You'll lead a team of 6 direct reports covering sales and marketing functions, championing a culture of performance, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Priorities:

• Develop and execute strategies to cross-sell and up-sell within an established customer portfolio.
• Identify and secure new business wins across untapped sectors and emerging verticals.
• Strengthen key account relationships, ensuring the business remains a partner of choice.
• Translate the long-term growth road map into actionable plans and measurable milestones.
• Build and nurture a high-performing team, investing in development and driving accountability.
• Liaise with the US Team around global target client identification & acquisition.

The Candidate

The successful candidate for the European Sales and Marketing Director - Manufacturing Sector opportunity will have;

• An extensive and proven history of working in senior leadership, Sales focused roles for Manufacturing and Production or Engineering biased firms - Essential.
• A Proven track record (5+ Years) in senior Commercial / Sales leadership, ideally within Technical Manufacturing or Engineered products - Essential.
• A Knowledge of the Aerospace, Airline or Automotive sectors - Advantageous.
• Experience of managing multi-country sales and marketing activities - Essential.
• Demonstrable success in delivering both organic growth and new customer acquisition - Essential.
• Strong strategic mindset coupled with a hands-on approach to execution - Essential.
• A natural collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment - Essential.
• Be commutable to the Sheffield HQ 4-5 days per week - Essential.

The Salary & Package

• Salary - £100,000 to £120,000.
