The Client:

A leading provider of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB), specializing in custom steel structures for commercial, industrial, and agricultural applications. �?�?�?

Core Function of the Position:

This role is critical in delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates for structural steel fabrication and construction projects. ????

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, materials, and project management, ensuring the successful execution of bids. ???

Responsibilities:

?? Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to create detailed and accurate cost estimates for structural steel fabrication and installation.

?? Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements and ensure estimates align with technical and budgetary needs.

?? Research and evaluate material costs, labor rates, and equipment expenses to develop competitive project bids.

??? Utilize estimating software and historical cost data to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.

?? Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid reviews to maintain consistency between estimates and project execution.

Requirements:

? You must have an understanding of MBS Software.

? Proven experience as a Structural Steel Estimator or in a similar role within the steel fabrication industry.

? Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.

? Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

? Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. ????
