Estimator - Search : Job Details

The Search Group requires a Estimator with experience in the construction industry for our London based client.Key Requirements:- Extensive experience in estimating within the construction industry.- Proficiency in formwork and groundworks estimation techniques.- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Responsibilities:- Analyse project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate estimates for formwork and groundworks.- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and constraints.- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant data for estimation.- Utilise estimating software and tools to ensure precision and efficiency in cost calculations.- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and pricing documents.- Participate in tender negotiations and provide support in securing contracts.- Monitor project costs and provide ongoing analysis and recommendations to optimise profitability.- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction estimating.Location: Harrow, with work primarily in London.Schedule: Long-term freelance position, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.If interested please submit an up-to-date CV or email
